Massage
An art of living and well-being for pet animals and their companions
Massage allows a holistic (1) approach to the animal. Its positive influence on the physical and psychological well-being brings about a balance between yin and yang (2). The contact reduces stress, and relaxes the nervous system. We soothe the dog and show it our affection. The mechanical effect on the skin stimulates the blood circulation, improves the supply of oxygen and of nutritious substances, and facilitates the elimination of toxins and metabolic waste products.
Conclusion
Massage, which is ideal for a nervous, aged or recovering dog, gives the animal strength and vitality when it is tired, and restores and maintains a natural and harmonious balance.
Massage and etheric oils
The theory of yin and yang makes it possible to establish the predominant effect of each etheric oil on the organism. An energy essence with a yin dominance will have a calming and refreshing effect. An energy essence with a yang dominance will have a stimulating and antiseptic effect.
In reality, each oil has yin and yang qualities all in one, and its effect depends on the circumstances of the application.
The treatment will be adjusted according to the reactions of your animal.

Holistic approach: an alternative treatment system that focuses on the whole person rather than on specific diseases or disorders, and considers physical, emotional, social, environmental and spiritual factors
According to Chinese philosophy, the universe is ruled by the law of the opposites. That theory is based on the existence of two complementary polarities: yin and yang. Although they are opposing forces, the one cannot exist without the other. They keep one another in balance in order to maintain unity and harmony.
What is an etheric oil?
It is the volatile essence liberated from aromatic plants by distillation.
What is aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the use of etheric oils for therapeutic purposes.
The oils we use are authentic and 100 % pure and complete. They are scarce and their price is consequently somewhat higher, but that is justified by their quality and their affectivity.
The essences have following characteristics:
Antiseptic
Antitoxic
Healing
Ant parasite
Antidotal
Anti rheumatism
Other essences are beneficial to the resilience, have stimulating effects, …
Bach flowers
The advantage of flower elixirs is that they are not toxic, and that even too high a dose is completely harmless.
A flower elixir is only effective when it is in resonance with the living being that needs it.
Flower elixirs are useful in case of excessive behaviour or of apathy. They may be used by all living beings, master and dog, rider and horse...
As spring is the first energy season of the year, it is the ideal time for a “general purification” of the organism in order to maintain an internal equilibrium during the following months.
